Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions is an exciting new trading card game available both physically and digitally for iOS and Android devices.
Choose your alliance and use your tactical skills to build an unstoppable force.
Then take yourself to the battlefield to destroy your opponent and take control of the mortal realms.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions contains over 270 cards to collect, split between the 4 Great Alliances; Orders, Chaos, Destruction and Death; each with their own playing style and strengths.
After selecting their alliance, players begin building their deck. This consists of 38 cards, including 4 legendary champions, 4 powerful blessings and 30 action cards, consisting of units, spells and abilities.
The game begins with players positioning the champions from their chosen alliance on the battlefield. Each champion is accompanied by an unknown blessing that can come into play during the game. Once all the champions are in place, the game can begin.
Players take turns performing up to 2 actions, this may include playing a card or using one of the exploits of their cards. For each "passed action", the player draws a card.
As the battle continues, champions will go through their own personal "quests" by completing a series of goals that may involve damaging the enemy, using units or activating spells. Once a Champions Quest is completed, their blessing is revealed.
Blessings are powerful abilities bestowed on champions by the gods that can quickly change the flow of a battle.
The battle continues until a player reduces his opponent's health to 0 and seizes victory.
